Hello!
I’m Madison.

As a freelance writer and mom of two baby boys, my goal is to teach other moms like me how they can stay at home with their babies and still make the money they need to cover the bills. When I found out I was expecting our first child, I knew I wanted to stay home, but I also knew I wanted the option to bring in some extra income.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from LeTourneau University, and I’ve been freelancing since 2017.
But my entrepreneurial journey started much earlier than that. At the age of 15, I opened a music studio and built a successful business in high school. Since then, I’ve tried all sorts of side hustles and business ventures, which has given me a wealth of knowledge and insight into what works and what doesn’t.
On this blog, I share my expertise and experience about which side hustles to pursue and which ones to avoid, as well as easy ways to make money from home as a stay-at-home mom. I’m passionate about helping other moms achieve financial independence and flexibility while also being able to prioritize their families.
I tried all the things to make a difference in our budget. Cutting the grocery budget, reading every article I could that promised to help me make money from my phone. I found myself taking surveys, doing transcription works, Instacart, DoorDash, researching drop shipping, blogging, grasping for anything that would allow me to create some breathing room in our budget.
As I tried all the things, I realized that freelance writing was something that I loved doing, I was good at it, and it didn’t have any startup costs or large expenses that came along with it. I had an iPad and a keyboard, and that’s all I needed. I started out extremely small, taking jobs for way too little money, and I slowly started to find my way around the freelance world.
I wished that I had had someone to show me the ropes, to tell me to keep going, and to reassure me that I wasn’t crazy. And that’s why I show up on my blog. Because I want to provide that to someone else.
Beginning in 2022, I went all in on my freelance writing business and have since built a six-figure business for myself. And even better? I only work 10-15 hours a week on my schedule! That leaves plenty of time for taking care of my little ones (and doing all the laundry that comes with having two kids!). I’m glad you’re here, and I hope you’ll find something helpful and stay a while.
